A Christmas walk starting and finishing in Keswick in the Lake District.
We shall start from the town centre by the Moot Hall visitor centre.
Keswick has a public pay and display carpark if needed. We will start at 10am and will take the path to Portinscale and along the path to ascend Catbells.
We will go over the top and back down to Derwent Water and back to Portinscale where we can stop at the local café or hostelry, the Farmers arms or the Chalet café if they are open.
During the walk we shall sample Mince Pies and Mulled wine and great views of Keswick from the iconic Catbells Wainwright.
The walk will involve some hill climbing and the paths are good and we will enjoy the Christmas lights in Keswick.

Dogs are more than welcome but as per the country code they would need to be on a lead and under control. As it Christmas fancy dress Christmas jumpers are optional but very welcome.
